Just wondering what kind of bilge pump everyone has running in their boat. I thought about getting the Tsunami 1200 gph from wally world. Any inputs?

1200 GPH ought to do it! I think that's a little higher than comes in a lot of boats but I'd probably go with it if it wasn't too expensive...

1200 is probably overkill. Look at a 500 or 750 should be fine.

There is no such thing as over kill when it comes to a bilge pump! This is one thing you don't want to go cheap on either, I have had just about every brand there is in multiple boats and I will not buy anything but RULE pumps for now on. http://www.powerboat-reports.com/sample/bilge.htmlThe best set up I have found is to have them wired to a seperate automatic float switch with a manual override switch so I can turn it on anytime I want and if the float fails. Always keep a spare in the boat too, it's worth every penny!

I just get the one academy carries, and keep it in the hatch. I also use alligator clips so I can hook it up whenever I want, and when its not in use, it stays out of the elements.
