Amazing the stuff this thing can go through.

I have an experienced FA Xlander blind I bought from jeff34, figure it has proven it self worth by the time he is done with one grin

Going for that Ranger Platinum look eek They did seriously make a boat that had two tone carpet that looked exactly like the front deck of the PD.

Okay...true story. This buddy of mine was driving south on 35 and that stuff blew out of the back of some truck. My buddy picked it up and then sold it to me for a deal grin When it is a deal you can't be picky about colors wink

Thanks TreeBass...

Lance it is a 17x54 with a 36HP. Me and another guy (200lb a piece) with a 75lb dog it runs 23 GPS. That isn't much else in there, no decoys or blind bags.

It was my dream rig and I love it but thinking a 18-19ft'er with duals would be pretty sweet grin

The guy I hunt with has a 21 ft center console Gator Trax with a 60hp pro drive and it will run about 27-28 with us and my dog in it. The 21 ft. is a little too much as it is a pain to get back in the tight places but that 60hp is mighty fine!

It is on my short list of things to get in the near future so I am doing my homework and getting the likes and dislikes of everyone. Do you wish you had a center console?

cmelvin....3850 on the water and 4200 out of the water, that was a deep water number too. Bone stock, I thought it was in line with what most were running???

Bobo rofl That was a touche. This boat does look good behind that color F250 and has spent a fair amount of time behind one that looks just like yours but a 7.3 wink

Sorry Lance...just saw your question. No I don't think I would want one. While it would be nice for operation it would take up a lot of room and I like the openess of this one. Learning to drive it with the stick doesn't take to long to get used too. If I had duals I probably would go with a console but only because I would go with a little bit bigger boat. I agree I think your buddies would be a little big but probably real nice in bigger water.

PD doesn't make a 60...has he has his pumped up to 60? How reliable has it been. Everything I have read means mods reduce your reliability and I am ok with slower as long as it won't break as easy on me.

man with 2 guys that size and a dog, you should be runnin in the 26-27 range. your rpms sound good. have you tried moving the weight around?

and as far as a 60 hp PD goes, he must have a Stage 2 mod kit done to it. its only a matter of time

Hull has a lot to do with it. His boat isn't a true square chined boat and the prop isn't brand new either. Your boat runs fine Judd! up

FYI. while cool the duals don't run near as shallow as a single motor and take much more water to get on step!

He has a stage 2 mod on it... it has held up pretty good as far as I can tell. We have run it pretty hard the last couple of years and it keeps on ticking. He has also been playing around with the props on it and I think that has helped the performance on it. I agree the dual pro drives sound like a great idea but I am still a little weary of them. I think that just adds to the number of problems you can have because you have 2 of everything at that point!
