After striking out in the Spring, my buddy scored on a nice gobbler this past weekend. Of course the main reason he struck out during the spring is because I couldn't coax a long beard into range for a "Gobbler Guillotine" shot. I'm sure glad he got one cause I'm getting really effn tired of him whining about "Your calling sucks"....."You didn't get one close enough"..."You freaking quick drawed me!". Whiny azz beeach he is. Drink heavily my friends! cheers

Negative Ghost Rider. No assembly yelps or kee kee runs involved here bama. We are in full blown bow hunting mode and me and my buddy are more interested in perforating something with 150" of bone sticking out of its head than busting flocks and coaxing one back in. This guy stopped to partake of the chum corn my buddy had thrown out on a trail he has a tree stand set on so he sent a Rage 2 blade right thru the wing joint at 22 steps and he didn't make it 10 steps.

Congrats to your friend. I prefer to get my birfs in the spring, it id judt motr fun to me calling them in at that time of the year. However Wild turkey in the fall sure beats butterballs for Thanksgiving dinner.

Dayyyymmm kmon1!! 4:30 AM post. Were you taking my "Drink Heavily" advise to heart???? I was at "The Track" sports bar on Hwy. 66 watching the Cowboys debacle and some guy got so P.O.'d that he threw his beer at the TV.....that wasn't you was it?? laugh Just kidding! LOL.

I am definitely with you on that. I generally always save every one my tags for the Spring. I have called in few fall birds but it just ain't the same as in the Spring. Have a good one.

cheers
