Any pointers for Big Lake Bottom WMA

We got drawn on an archery hunt for Big lake opening day. Anyone ever hunted there or nearby? Any pointers would be appriciated.

I won a doe/spike hunt there in December. How was it. I called the offices there and they mentioned a big problem was the black mud. Did you see deer or hogs?

Is that a draw area only now? We used to hunt it during bow season with a type II. But Wear good comfortable boots. It is big and you will walk a LONG WAY!!! Make preparations to drag a deer a LONG WAY! Probably alot of deer there.

Yes. It is a draw only area for deer except for youth season. They are letting us take our ATV's. I have a Honda 4oo 4x4. I fugure i will need it.
