Had a great weekend. Saw a ton of birds. Had the The hunts turned put pretty well too. Saturday-36 and Sunday-30

Even had a couple of duck rookies to enjoy the weekend with. They deffinatly got to experience duck hunting from rain/lightning, mud and muck, to humbling shooting.

Good to spend some time in the blind with a couple of you guys.

We hunted out west as well, Saturday was a little iffy with all the storms, 6 guys with 1/2 limits.
Sunday was full bore on though smile

It was a great way to kick off the 2010 season!

We hunted with Justin Hill out of Haskell on Saturday and Sunday- We did really well and came very near limiting out both days. I sure love watching his dog (Thumper?) work. That dog makes me want to get a lab to train but I know better. Birds were busting us on the second day but we were patient and shot the ones that didn't flare off..

Not to mention that 45-10 beatdown of KU! Did you get to watch it after the hunt?
