New to bowhunting and sure this has been asked a thousand times. The tubing on my first peep broke so a friend gave me an extra peep he had-installs perpendicular to the string and no tube. When I first tried it (before serving it in) worked perfectly. After serving it in, now it doesn't go to vertical at full draw-stays about 45 degrees. Tried redoing the serving but still doesn't help. Any ideas?

i had the same problem just had to go with a peep with tubing....if it is a new bow or bow with new a string shoot it about 100 times then adjust the peep, it helps the string settle in.....if its a old string that means it might be time for a new one.

If you are using a d loop try shifting your d loop around the string instead of moving the peep.
