Hey guys...its almost that magical time of the year when all of us start trying to skip out of work a little early (if we even go at all) and we get our "honey do lists" done in record speeds so that we can spend as much time out in the woods as we can. I thought it would be great if we all had a central post where we could all post up our victories and defeats out on LBJ as deer season rolls on. i was thinking about taking my daughter out for youth weekend, next week!!!

I went out on the weekend of the 15th and saw some decent signs and a gobbler but did not see any deer.

unit #51 off 380 in decuater go the the very back fence on the property and there is a feeder on the other side of the fence
me and my son saw a ton of does there and one 8 point we didnt get a shot on

Sorry a lease is to expensive for me this year and not to mention I would like to see what area to buy one in the future by hunting different lands throughout texas and hunting public land seems like a great way to see hunting throughout texas.
