be careful stalk hunting out there. good way to get shot at, or at the very least screw up someone elses hunt.
Check the areas around cottonwood lake. find creeks and hunt edges and well traveled game trails. OR get out there and scout and walk at least a mile off of the main roads.
Picture removed. clowns creep me out.

Walking in public hunting land is a bad idea. Find a good suitable spot and stay put. Like others have said hunt the trail crossings and look for funnels. Scout the area and try to stay off the beaten path. Look for areas that are hard to get into. Wait thru the morning, the average hunter will get up and leave by 9 to 9:30 am and there is a good chance that they will cause deer to move and give you an opportunity. Good luck, stay safe, and remember to wear the required orange.
