Theres a place near by that has hog hunting with rifles or dogs. Was wondering if you can harvest hogs during the day? They have feeders set up to hunt over but dont have lights or anything there. Thanks.

If they are running dogs for hogs, of course you can do that during the day. The dogs will find where the hogs regardless of what time of day it is.
If I were just sitting over a feeder with a gun, I would hunt early mornings, late afternoons, or even at night if you have lights on the feeder, or a full moon. Given the choice, the hogs will naturally be moving during these times.
A hog is nothing more than a bullet receptacle.

Yes you can hunt pigs during the day. Anyday, anytime. If you have a regular hunting license that is. But like kawabuggy said, most pigs have different cycles. If they arent regulated to get fed at a certain time they might come at any time really late or early.

It seems to me that temperature hs a lot to do with it. When its cold the pigs seem more active fo a longer period of time. I have shot a couple pigs well past noon in late Jan. and Feb. Right now I most pigs bed down during the day.
I have to agree that it all depends on the pigs current cycle.
