Are you sure you hunting buddies are not playing tricks on you are stinking up your hunting area on you?

I am not sure what to say then if they are seeing deer and you are not. Have you moved your camera around the area to see if deer are there? Checked for new or fresh sign? Any rubs or scrapes? If deer are there in that area they will leave sign.

I wonder if you have a big predator den right near your feeder that you're not aware of.
That's really odd.

It could be a predator like a bobcat that keeps your deer from the feeder. We had that problem last year. Wondered where all our deer had gone. A few night later we found out. Had a big bobcat on our camera with a squirrel in its mouth. I managed to get that cat the very next morning on a hunt and within 24 hours our deer had come back to the feeder. Too bad that was the last day of deer season and we totally missed out on the sausage.

I was worried the pigs might be doing it, unless there is a really aggressive one this year to keep them away... I need to check for predators..I have often wondered if feral dogs might do it...I have seen tracks around and people are bad about dumping dogs etc out on our property....may have to try calling some up

I had a camera up on a creek crossing where I had seen some good signs of deer crossing for over a month and never had a picture of a deer, hogs and coons, but no deer. I moved my camera 80 yards away in the middle of the field and in a week had over 400 pictures of deer coming to the field, they just were not using the same crossing in the area. Now I know I have two good bucks that I will be hunting this year down there instead of hoping I had something show up.

wcromer...i have never killed on this property...I just started hunting it 3 years ago.the first two hardly had time to hunt it at all...I did see alot of tracks and rubs etc...i will have to admit that I usually didnt get out there untill mid to late November. This is the first year I have gotten out there this early...It maybe that its like this all the time. Just some background its 100 ac of hardwoods. It has alot of trails through it and the area I am concentrating on is where most of the trails come together.
I only have the one feeder, I think the deer are eating acorns..I want to have a food plot next year.

Like they have said , dont worry they will show . I was starting to get concerned at my main hunting spot when all I was getting pics of were does- no bucks. I went scouting yesterday and found rubs everywhere . I bet I found 25 different rubs in all parts of 350 acres .

My hunting partner and I got onto a place very late in the year and we had discovered that none of the other hunters had been feeding except for 1 feeder. We put up 4 feeders and cameras and it was 3 weeks before they found it good. Now it seems to be pretty good. So depending on how long your feeder has been there you may want to try another spot. If it hasn't been long then give it some time.
