Went to Cafe in coleman last weekend ("tiffany's) for breakfast. I had my 3 year old with me. All of you who have kids know what I mean when I say you always need to know what place has slow service and which place has fast service. Tiffany's was pretty slow. 5 to 10 to get drink order, then another 30 to get our food. My boy was getting very restless. He is to young for adderall. When the food came out they had told us they ran out of biscuits and gravy and would take another 20 minutes AT LEASE to make more. That is one thing we were looking forward to.

The food that we had was really good. I wont lie. And I would really like to try one of there burgers. I hope it was a fluke thing when we went. I will try it one more time before I mark it off my list of places to eat.

Anyone else have any experiences there?

Go out on the loop and go to The Way Station for breakfast. Biscuits and gravy are GOOD and the coffee is too. Good service.

Check with Cool_Hand on here for his place, breakfast, lunch right there...busy spot but good fast service with a smile from Sara!

Last time went by that place, I guess it was smokers hour (no offense to those who do, but I DONT) and it was too much to handle. Just east of there, they re-opened the Corral. They make a GOOD burger and have some good lunch specials.

Used to but not anymore, where The Way Station is now. There is one in Santa Anna (8 miles or less away). I haven't been but go past it all the time and people are there. Before the first light on the south side street of the main drag.

Heard Big O's in Valera has good steaks. The burgers are good & the BBQ.

Big O's ribeyes are great! cooked on a pit over mesquite wood. Big O is a good guy as well. I bet it would be hard to find a better steak in coleman co. JMO

Its not there anymore. They took the signs down, shut it up. Still looked abandoned last time I was thru, that was last week. Think it was shut down after that guy was stabbed & died.

It has been open for a few years since then, we went last season quite a few times. Emmit stopped serving food and was just beer. Place was always rough, but was always a good time.

Where is everyone going now? S&P used to be packed, then it slowed down so we started going to the Buggy Wheel and the other one, but none have been hopping like 07-08. Here lately been just going over to Rowena since Coleman has been dead the last few years.

Coleman lacks in any decent bar/grill or bar places. Santa Anna has the BarbedWire down from where the smoking gun USED to be. Heard its not bad.

Coleman lacks alot of things. It wouldnt take much to turn some of those places around and make it more appealing
