Introducing our newest member of the family, Dexter! He is an 8 week old German Shorthaired Pointer (Liver Roan) upland hunting dog.

Very nice looking. I like how their legs and feet look so thick at that age.

that's so true about the legs... but that's the ONLY thing that grows on a shorthair for the first 4 months, pretty soon he'll look like baby giraffe until the rest of him catches up! grin

I remember when ours was a pup, I couldn't get over how large his paws and head were!! LOL i was thinking is his body EVER going to grow into them?!! haha! He still has a large tator head!! smile
