Our fingers will be crossed again that he survives our neighbors to live another year. First pic is from '09, 2nd, 3rd pic are this year. his left brow tine is split this year too but you can't see it in this pic, making him 13 points. His body is still much smaller than the other more mature bucks we have pics of. We want him to breed and get bigger to shoot another year. Gives us something to look forward to. Look how small his body is and he's at least 3 1/2 years old now, or 4 1/2 at the most. The dates on the wildview pics are wrong, pics from this year.

he looks 4.5 this year, 5.5 next and let him fall.

Good thing Lampasas is a 2 buck county now, you can manage better.

are you sure that those are the same deer.

looks like two different ones to me, but maybe i am just seeing things. the kicker in 09 is on the right side and in 2010 it is on the left side

that and to me, the one this year looks younger

i could be off here, but that is my .02

Stuff my dad said in the deer blind

"I can dive deeper and come up drier"
"did you do that?"

I think it's the same deer rsquared. If you look at the first picture, you see the kicker on the right side. If you look at the next 2 pictures, he still has the kicker on the right side, but has acquired another on the left.

I dont doubt the same deer. What about the order of the pictures, is it correct that the top picture is from last year and the bottom two(in velvet) are from this year? If so then I also would have to say they are different deer because the top deer looks older and larger bodied than the second two, and with a wet year like we had that dude should have and good grocereis and done nothing but gain weight and antler.

He is a great looking buck, but in pic's 2 and 3 he looks like a dog with horns on his head. A beautiful buck with great potential, but looks alot younger than the deer in the first pic, not a year older.

Nice buck. If your hunting in the hill country he's normal size. If your place isn't a huge ranch, 1500 acres or bigger I'd shoot him before my neighbors do.....JMO

He's a mainframe 11 and 4.5 YO? I'd take him this season! What do you think he would score, 140 or so?
