Congrats on a very fine pistol! Really surprising to me that Ruger didn't mark the chambering anywhere on the cylinder!

I have a 3 screw Blackhawk, without the extra cylinder. Just went to look and it says 357 on the frame just below the cylinder. Out of curiosity, does yours have the cartridge indicated anywhere? thanks

nope just a number hand marked on the cylinders , showing it matches the gun.... i just didnt know what caliber the other cylinder was.... i shot a few 357 rds last night, been awhile since i shot a 357, it was sweet.. gonna try the 9mm if the rd seems to be a good fit..... then im gonna have to mark it some how for my boys or drill it into there mind of the years......
