Around 11 pm tonight I had my truck broken into and all of my archery gear and optics stolen in Midland, Texas. Police report has been filed and the thiefs left a beer bottle with fingerprints which we are hopeful for. $1,200-1,500 worth of gear. Any leads are appreciated.

2006 Bowtech Tomkat
10-12 arrows(cheetah, carbon express maxima), assorted broadheads(rage, vortex, G5 striker)
black plastic case
Oakley backpack
Simmons spotting scope
various flashlights, headlamps etc.

Keep an eye out on Craigs list, but the lowlifes will probably sell it or trade it for a fix, but whoever buys it may try and make a profit and advertise it on CL.

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

That hurts. I'll keep an eye on craigslist. check the pawn shops.

I'm just a couple streets south on Bedford. Few months ago someone broke into a bunch of vehicles on our street one saturday night. Ten years in San Antonio taught me NEVER LEAVE ANYTHING IN YOUR VEHICLE.

Sorry man, what a way to start off bowseason...
