anyone know of a cheaper or free way to download topo maps to my new garmin 60csx . besides purchasing their dvd software thats another $100.00 dollars

I purchased one from ebay for about $60. It took me a few weeks of checking ebay, craigslist, etc. to get it at that price.

i sell micro sd map cards. with streets and topo, info on them.
i use them in my garmin astro 220 tracking system. it may work in others but dont really know.

$20.00

they are not for the whole country, but a good bit of it though

There are some ways to get a free version, but they are illegal. Buying the software is how they make their money. I agree, the price is a lot steep and should be at most $20 or $30 and maybe they would sell enough to make up the difference. Torrent downloads are a way to get a pirated copy, but be careful because you may get caught and in trouble. Good luck.
