I just picked up one of these today. After having a problem with a sciatic nerve and not being able to really spend as much time outdoors as normal I had to get something. So far, I'm impressed with the little camera. Pretty easy and quick to set up. It doesn't have a viewing screen for the pictures while out in the field, but that's not a big problem for me. I can view those at home or on my daughters laptop(if she lets me steal it for a bit...lol). So far..so good. I should have some pictures tomorrow. It says it should hold a little over 1000 pics on the 5 mp setting. And you can set this thing for video or picture. The pictures settings can be 3,5,or 8 mp. I am anxious to see how good of pictures it takes at night. This is the smallest trail camera I think I have seen yet. I have had moultrie and leaf river and cuddebacks and had problems with all of them. For $200 this one doesn't seem to be so bad so far. Very easy and quick to set up. I could put 4-6 of these in a backpack to take out and set up, they are so small.
Anyone else got one of these?

Bro in law bought one, but we only have had the chance to view the pics once. The night pics were outstanding, especially since the cam is around 50 feet from the feeder. I'm going to see how many pics it will take on those little batteries before I buy one though. His camera is set for 1 min but it seems to take another pic in about 15 seconds though, so were not sold on it completely yet. I'll check it next week and see how it's working.

Oh really? Where are those bad reviews? I'd like to read them. Seriously, I didn't find any on the internet when I searched and I would like to find out what the problems were before I buy another. Thanks!

Look under chasinggame.com I spent several hours looking at the reviews and they also show trigger speed with still and video picts.

Go to Chasingame.com for reviews. IIRC the 2010 model testing was stopped because they had so many problems with them.
I tried the Trophy Cams and didn't like them at all.

I use quite a few of them and they ate up the batteries in a week and didn't take any pictures.
I contacted busnell and they had me switch to sandisk sd cards. Every since I made the switch they have been working very well. The cards they didn't like were Kingstons.

Well my BTC camera I got must be in with the other bad lots that I have recently heard about. The daytime photos really sucked. No run aways. Just everything was red, over exposed, and no true colors at all. The trees were red and the protein feeder that is a black plastic tub and galvanized legs, was blue. So, the wife is taking this one back on Sunday and I'm going to try the Primos 46 or 60. The ones I was looking at to start with and didn't get.

Curtis, not to change the subject on the camera, but what are you doing for your sciatic nerve? I have the same problem and have overcome it by doing gentle yoga. There is a dvd called "Yoga for a healthy back" you can get cheap on amazon.com. It has two 20 minute session of back exercises in there which are very easy to do but work wonders on your back. When my sciatica acts up I do the yoga and within one week my pain is all but gone. Give it a try, it really does work but will take a few days to kick in. Better then to live with pain, take meds that don't work and deny you the pleasure of your favorite activities. Just a suggestion.
On the camera, we have a cuddeback and are absolutely 100% happy with it so can't really help you there.

oh I had a bad fall a few months back. Now I have a numb little toe on right foot and a little lose of muscle power in right leg. Enough to prevent me from jogging or running long distance, which I kind of enjoy. I'm in therapy lately. Not near as bad as it was three weeks ago. I have to learn to stretch and all kinds of stuff now. No more drugs or shots or surgery needed but it is a big inconvenience for me more than anything else.

I have been using the 2010 model for six weeks now, and I use a Sandisk SD card. It has been taking about 600 pics a week and battery life still shows to have three bars, three bars is the max. All of the pictures are good, except for the early morning pics. The early morning pics are too dark, it should have still been using the IR mode. Like all IR cameras, if the deer are moving at night, the picture will be blurry.
