Academy will almost always have the lowest prices in new Glocks. Otherwise, there is a gun show that travels through austin. It is at that small convention center off 290 right east of 35.

If you've already handled one and know what you want, check out budsgunshop.com. Their prices are great, free shipping, no tax. They'll beat anyone local on price.

If you want to buy here, I agree, go with Academy. I haven't found a gun store in Austin that I like yet. Apparently having a bad attitude is a prerequisite to owning or working at a gun store. I'm all for supporting the little guy I just haven't found any here that deserve it yet. If you can get your hands on a Cabela's cash back card, that may be an option for you, too.

check TGT. There's a guy on there who is in San Marcos, I'm pretty sure, and he's selling all new Glocks for less than $500

Catch Academy on sale and you can get below $500 as well. Best thing to do is watch on here and one will come along. A lot of Glocks change hands on here. I've personally bought 3 and sold 1 on here.

GT can only sell you a used Glock, unless you are in the military, police, or first responder.

If you qualify for LE price (LE, Active or retired military, fire, EMS, security, commercial pilot, judge, ect)a Glock 17 or 22 is 398.20. We have commercial Glocks starting at $519.95. Any GSSF member can buy a LE Glock with 3 mags starting at $425 once a year. GSSF costs $35 first year and $25 to renew.

Bought mine from GT about 10 yrs ago, recieved it a the pd in 2 days, and they beat everyones price.

if you don't care if it is used or not GT DIst for sure I have got a couple used 23's from them for cheap and they work fine. I will be looking there again since my 27 got stolen
