Okay, just curious. This season, who will be using an "old" bow from the early 2000s?, 1990s?

It looks like I'll be shooting a 1987 Jennings Super T-Star.
It's killed a few deer, and a truckload of hogs. I want to get a turkey more than anything with it though.
My new bow hasn't made it in yet.

My dad has a really old compound recurve that was made in the 80s. He dosnt hunt with it anymore but iv shot it a few times at a target to remind me how much technology has advanced to my 2009 Diamond.

I'll be hunting with a Bear Whitetail Plus this year. Next year I'll have a Hoyt or a Mathews.

2003 BowTech, I have never got caught up in the latest and greatest all though I do not have a problem with those that do. My 03 still does a great job for me so no need to change.

I could shoot my late 90's Oneida Black Eagle... But I got a new Browning this year
Wasn't born in Texas, but I got there as fast as I could.

I will be shooting my old worn out Mathews Legacy(2003)! I bought the best bow that I could back then, and still have no complaints about it, great investment. I know there are faster bows, lighter bows, quieter bows, but for some reason this one gets it done year in and year out for me. Never needs much if any adjustments, I did install a new truglo sight this year that makes a world of differnce over that 7 year old cobra sight, guess my eyes have aged in 7 years.
Good luck this weekend, guys.

I shoot a Browning I'm pretty sure was made back in the 80's it's the first ones "I" remember them ever having.

Boss - that is a thing of beauty. It reminds me of the bow that I learned to shoot as a kid, it was my Grandfathers.

Well this is my first year in 15 years to bowhunt, but my 2003 Mathews Q2XL will be in my hands this year. Next year I foresee something new and techy, to take it's place.

I guess I'll be shooting my old piece of junk McPhearson Monster XLR8.
I do have a Jennings Super T in the closet though. I'd be scared to shoot it. I also have a super old Browning something or another. It has a wooden riser. How old is that?

Hi Boss, Your "Kodiak Hunter" looks almost identical to mine that I got about 1972 and still have it. I killed my first bow buck with it and also have done a lot of bow fishing with it. It's still in great shape. I also still have a "Bear Alaskan" compound bow I got the first year it came out on the market, around 1976 (not sure of exact year).
