I suppose it can be pretty good depending on who ya talk to. Good deer near Sulphur Bluff are and around Cooper Lake.
There is a forum member who reports almost no deer seen at his place the last couple years. He is north off of 19 somewhere. But another forum member killed a pretty nice deer 3 or 4 years ago on the mans place.
I hunt south and both my yungens killed deer last year. My 8 year old got a narrow but thick 12 point. I have filled tags every year for the last 4 years hunting my Hopkins place.
It ain't easy being me.

I am just east of Sulphur Springs along the White Oak Creek and there is a good amount of deer there, no monsters really though, Lots of hogs and a even a few mountain lions. It depends on the area around there really.

My inlaws have some land off of 19 in Tira. I've sat out there on occasion and not seen a thing. I went walking around 2 weeks ago and found a small 4 pt shed. Good sign, not much, but at least A deer strolled through.
