I'm going to check my cameras this weekend, but all through July and August I was seeing the same thing in Jasper, plenty of does and fawns, but only had 1 little buck in 2 months coming to one of two feeders. Hopefully things will have picked up in Sept...anxious to see if my mock scrape I made last month worked.

I've been seeing the same things on mine (does, fawns and a few young bucks). On the plus side I didn't see a buck one until late September so I'm hoping thats a good sign.

On the down side, though, I am seeing a LOT more hogs this year than last. We're about to get medieval on them!

I ran my cameras last weekend in Tyler County, same as you; all doe's and fawns but no bucks. But I must say the fawn crop looks good, lot of twins and 2 triplets. Tried to look at the fawns(23) and see if any were nubbers, but it looked like they were all slick heads.

On our place, anything 2 1/2 yrs or older won't come to a feeder until after dark. And the really big ones never came at all. If you really want to see what kind of bucks you have, hand throw some corn well away from the feeder and put a camera on it. Or put a camera over a scrape. We didn't even know we had bucks that big till we did that.

Alfalfa in the pine plantations was always our bucks' kryptonite. Would get does and fawns (& a few bucks) on the corn and then usually 75% bucks on the hay.

daybreak tues morning, saw the usual does and fawns, but this time saw 1 mature buck (not sure of rack size due to foggy conditions), 4 point and a spike browsing side by side. I am right outside of groveton on the west side.

Same ol', same ol' on the trail cam. I am with ya ETXbuckman... we've got a few fawns runnin around! Which is outstanding. Fall mix food plot is doing well... I expected so after the 5+ inches of rain last week. I was kinda nervous they would be washed out. The bucks will come around, they've got to. Does and fawns is a good sign. Well, men, let me know what ya see if you dont mind

I have never fed alfalfa, for deer anyway, do you recommend pellets or hay? If its hay you feed, do you put it in a hanger or do you throw it on the ground?

Getting a few bucks on camera in Wood County. Pretty decent buck but needs another year.

Made it back up to Jasper this weekend to check cams, no bucks after a 4 wk soak, except one little guy....only had a doe come to my mock scrape, but no bucks. Made another mock scrape and put a new cam on it, so we'll see in a few weeks, but so far very discouraged!

Ran my camera's again today in Tyler County, north of Woodville; all doe's and fawns; no bucks. Had a few pic's of coyote's passing by the feeders, total of six in 4 pics only had two coyotes on the cameras last year; might have to work on thinning them out!
