Real fun to hunt. I have had a murder (group name) of them take over one of my feeders before. Picking them off out of the trees was pure fun. Exploding them off branches was great.

I personally haven't tried them to eat but know of a lady that swears they are good table-fair. I'm all for "trying something at least once" but since I ain't got a clue on how to cook them, don't think I will try one anytime soon.

lol, i offered to shoot the crows in my dad's water melon patch 2 summers ago. He said to leave them alone, as they were a good indicator of "west nile."

Went to visit the past 4th July, and he had my Grandad's 16Ga and was shooting each and everyone that came into the field.

Funny thing how the harvest yield rate increased this past summer versus the last two. rofl

Back in the 30's and 40's Crows where out of control. The government used to use dynamite and all types of methods to thin them out. My grandfather hunted them for years in the timber of NW Oklahoma, and he had an owl decoy, horned owl. Well this horned owl was mounted before they where illegal and I still have that owl. It is a real horned owl mount, used for crow hunting way back then. Interesting though because I've never hunted them and heard that this owl is illegal...

We covered our mojo's very tightly in black garbage bags to make them look like crows.

after we would shoot at the first group we would have to move to a different spot. I used to move all over our land and pop a few in each spot. After you take that first shot you should change places unless you have a spot where their feeding
