This time of the year any gunsmith that is well known & reputable is buried with work, so the time line might a tad tough. I don't know what Larry Pockrus, who used to be in Lewisville as Larry's Guns, is doing these days since he moved the shop out to his house but you might try and find him out around Ponder. Otherwise I'd normally suggest Doc's in Carrollton as my first choice but I know he's been buried with work since last June, or McClellands south of Garland Rd on Centerville since they have more than one 'smith on the line. Ray Zipper up here at Texoma could do the work if he's still crankin. PM me if you need contact info or look at the Gunsmith thread here on THF. Ron

Just a heads up, Pocky is in cahoots with Old Town Gun Shop in Lewisville (next door to Beasleys) if you drop it off there Larry picks them up to do the work.

Thanx craigr that's good to know. I've known Larry since skinhead was alive and selling stuff out the back door of his house when Bill was just a young pup. Ron

Doc's is ok if your not worried about cosmetics, great for triggers but cosmetics leave something to be desired.
