Sure, you might want to use an elevated stand just to make sure your shots stay in your property. Good luck

Anything over 10 acres is legal to my understanding and def. one feeder. Might wanna check out the show Deer city Usa! They hunt small property's and smoke monster's all the time!

Just make sure if it was in a subdivision that they did not have deed restriction about acreage size for hunting...I bought 25 acres that was like that. Had to have 100 contiguous to hunt in that subdivision. Not sure how they could enforce it though.

A friend of mine has 7 acres that they take deer off of every year. He just has 1 feeder and an elevated blind only about 50 yards from the feeder so he is basically shooting into the ground.

Yes & yes on the 20. To build on that, don't look at just what's ON your property, but consider the adjoining land, too. I mean from the prospective of how, when & where the wildlife moves. You can capitalize off of what folks are - or aren't - doing on adjoining land.

Correction on my last post! Not sure how much land you have to have to hunt! When I said 10 acres that is for sure the legal limit to discharge a firearm- bow might be another thing!!! That sherrif in Parker county say's so lol! Didn't write us up but made us stop shootin' dove cause we were on 5 acres! bow hunting might be legal on any size property!?!?!?!

Just remember if bow hunting, Hit deer might cross into adjoining property. A good shooting rifle out of an elevated stand would do the job.

guns kill people, like spoons made Rosie O'donnel fat.

Food plot is 24/7 on feed while a feeder is a couple of times a day. Food plot will hold deer better in my opinion. If you could do both is much better.

Yeah this is true, but keep in mind, depending on how you roll, this is where high fences and bad neighbor relationships come from. If you have neighbors who don't approve for whatever reason, they can easily put you on a 20 acre high fence pen. I know I don't want others to "capitalize off of what I am doing" without contributing in equal part. Bad mojo.

That may be for ur particular county, there is no acreage limitation for firing a gun where i live....

And yes, 20 acres is more than enough to hunt on. We have a small 6 acre place that i could very easily and safely hunt deer on if i wanted too...

also, i have and plan to again this year, hunt a 17 acre place...

IT has better deer than any of our properties that are 300-700 acres...

I'm no lawman that's for sure! The Sherriff that made us stop hunting said we had to have 10+acres to hunt! Not sure if it varies county to county or if it were a state law?!??!!? If ya' think of it though your right Brandon. If I had 4 acres and a Yote or somethin' was in my yard a firearm is most likely goin' to be discharged lol. I thought he meant statewide i dunno! Def. no brainer though back onto topic yes you might have one heck of a freak nasty hangin' in that 20 acres just check with your local sherriff or game warden and map out shooting lanes to not shoot toward's other houses or road's if there are any nearby!
