Is there a public rifle range near Lubbock? 100 yard range is fine.

Rustic Range in Slaton. Hear good things about it. Haven't been there (live in the country, so have own range)

I grew up in the Lubbock area and we always went to the range in Slaton. Good range and good people. Not a bad drive from LBK.

+2 On Rustic. Doug runs a fine range and gun shop.

coffee spelled backwards is eeffoc. I don't give eeffoc until I have my morning coffee.

+3 and about the only rifle range I know that's around. It's nice not having to pay a membership fee also like alot of the other ranges your first time

Rustic is the only place to go for rifles. No sense in even looking elsewhere.

Rustic only goes to 100 yards, but if that is all you need it will do

Still did last time I was there but it has been a few months. I have a friend with a range so I don't get to RR too often. Even so, I enjoy my time there when I do go.

I heard that there was a private range that had long distance ranges available (500+). It's outside of Lbk somewhere. Anything ring a bell? Rustic's 100 won't do it. Thanks.

I know. Well if anyone knows of anything around Lbk let me know. I'm wanting to test out this .338 lapua mag. I would be wasting my time at rustic.
