Yes I hunted there for a couple of years. I shot a gross 206 net 197 in 1994. That same year at our front gate we had a gross 188 got ran over it now hangs in the Garland TPWD office. There truly are some big bucks that can be grown in that county the problem is too many people just want to shoot the first buck they see. You find some big country in the river bottoms and take your time it will pay off.

I live in hunt county, if you are willing to put the time in, there are good quality bucks in the area.
The problem is that there are not huge #'s of deer, but there are a ton of hogs. If you see a legal buck he will most likely be a good one.

Is there ANY public hunting land in Hunt County? I have relatives all over Greenville but unfortunately nobody owns any land in Hunt County.

That same year at our front gate we had a gross 188 got ran over it now hangs in the Garland TPWD office. I saw that today but it says it was illegaly taken in Hunt county.
