I am thinking of buying a membership to the Solana Ranch for dove hunting this weekend. It is in Salado TX, north of Austin. I am looking for a place to go dove hunting with my pops who lives in Salado. Have any members heard of or hunted this place in this season or past seasons? Thanks for any info. Link below:

I have hunted it about 4 out of the last 6 years. It's not great, not bad either but NEVER limted out and only got 1/2 a limit max on any outing. There is APH land nearby that would likely be just as good and only cost $48 for a season.

Hunted it three seasons ago. The first few days were amazing but they thinned fast after that. They will not let you hunt before noon which I did not like but rules are rules.

What about Elm Creek Hunting in Temple TX. They look like a similar operation as Solana Ranch but on a smaller scale which could be better.
