I like to wear my rubber boots when hunting. But durning bow hunting season the snakes are still out. How many will wear there snake boots to the deer stand instead of wearing thier rubber boots. I am scared of meeting that dude in the dark. I have a pretty good road to walk in but still don't know about taking that chance. What's you opion?
Thanks, Jigfish

I wear mine anytime the temp is warm enough. During season I take scent precaution of a good spray down in scent killer. I use rubber boots a lot for my hunting in Mississippi and they so help with scent control but I also like them there for the mud

I pretty much wear them year round when I am hunting. Protection whens its warm, warmth when its cold its a win win.

Hunting in West Texas .. . . . .. all season long from start to end. Takin' no chances. Just spray 'em down good with scent killer. Besides, between gettin' snakebit and spookin' a deer, not too hard a choice.

I hunt West Texas and I wear my snake boots all year long. We killed 3 rattlesnakes last year on a December Pheasant hunt in the Panhandle. I don't care how cold it is, I don't take that chance!

All the places I hunt are notorious for rattlesnakes. I wear snake boots until winter weather sets in; just spray them down good with scent killer. Filling a feeder a few weeks ago, looked down and was standing not 5 inches from a coiled rattler...made me feel really good to have those snake boots on.

I wear them all of the time. If you get a good pair then they are like wearing tennis shoes. I personally am on my second pair of Cabelas Pinnacles. They are very comfortable and they use a zipper instead of lace up which makes them much quicker and easier to get on and off.
