A Good Steak Marinade

1/8 tspn salt
1/8 tspn coarse black pepper
Good glass of old Scotch

Sprinkle a little of the salt and pepper on one side of the steak. Take a sip of the Scotch.
Sprinkle the rest of the salt and pepper on the other side of the steak. Take another sip of Scotch.
Put just a couple of drops of Scotch on the steaks. Take another sip. And grill to perfection. While sipping the Scotch of course.

Fresh ground pepper and fresh ground sea salt for me. Also just a bit of EVOO with garlic in it.

Then, don't over cook it.

My favorite thing to eat in the whole world.

I like red wine (I use cab) and spice. Not too long tho, 1 hr max in the red wine, you can over do it. Good with any red meat. up

My favorite is real simple... warm olive oil in cast iron skillet. Sautee chopped garlic and cilantro - season with salt & pepper to taste. Marinade the steak in it. Save some to garnish/pour over top at serving.

I like the taste of the steak so I don't want it to be hidden. However my old lady has some type of butter sauce that she puts on them every once in a while and it is very tasty.

Spicy Italian Dressing and Coke/Dr. Pepper. The sugars in the soda caramelize the meat. Also great for venison. Let em sit in the fridge for a few hours and wala.
