that looks great. you can not beat a home made crispy taco. i do not know why most mexican food places continue to use store bought taco shells,when fresh fried ones blow them away.

We do that all the time. well until we run out of ground venison.

How do you make the shells?

We just buy Old El Paso taco shells from the store. It isn't that we are doing anything different than we normally would when we make tacos, we just use ground venison instead of ground beef.

My wife takes regular corn tortillas and lightly fries them in canola oil, then folds them into a taco shell shape, and places them on a paper towel to drain & cool before using them

I made this tonight, and it was very good.

Try usng your venison breakfast sausage just like you would use ground venison. Man the sausage seasonings makes it a really tasty taco.
