I just put these in my feeder this past weekend, mixed with corn. It had a strong scent of berries with it, has anybody used this or Record Rack Corn or Record Rack Protein? Not a bad price but I know nothing about it or success people have had with it. Thanks

Have used Record Rack protein for several years. Prefer it instead of AntlerMax.

I like record rack because it will sling from a feeder better than most other protiens. I like the golden nuggets also. The deer seem to really like to too. I know you are nto supposed to throw protein from a feeder opposed to let them eat it when they want. I would say that in the 3 years that we fed it that it produced good results.(I am not using it anymore because I dont hunt that same property anymore and now I am establishing another program on another property.)
I avoid Dick's and hope they fold.

I've been feeding it on a couple of small (225 and 250 acres) low fence places I hunt. Not necessarily trying to grow bigger antlers so much as just use it as an attractant to keep the deer in the area. The bucks love it, but the does seems to prefer the corn. I had 474 pics on my trailcam that monitors both a corn feeder and a free choice protein feeder, and only a dozen or so showed does eating the golden nuggets. But there were about a hundred pics showing several bucks with their head buried in the feed bucket.
Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.

I've only used the Record Rack corn. Very clean with no debris mixed in.

I prefer using regular corn. That stuff is a mess if it gets moisture and it seemed like it gave me more problems than regular corn did.

I spoke with one of their salesmen at the Hunters Extravaganza and he said if I feed the protein to mix in the Golden Nuggets with it, and then gradually take the nuggets out. I've never had nor has anybody thats hunted on our property ever had a protein feeder on our land. So I'm thinking about trying this out, using regular corn with the Golden Nuggets mix, (I saw no difference between their corn and regular corn) and then using a Golden Nuggets mix with the RR Protein, and possibly using less Nuggets very gradually. Thoughts?

I mixed the GN with corn once and filled two feeders with it. I had continuous problems with the feed hanging up in the outlet cone. Don't remember if it was a wet year, but never used it again as it was so frustrating. Sure made the feed last longer though!

If you are interested in protein you should give Lyssy and Eckel a look. They do not skimp on their ingredients to try and increase profit. Their recipe remains the same throughout the year. I can tell you some of the big name manufacturers of protein do exactly that. Also, check the calcium and phosphorus percentage content. This is critical to antler growth.
