I see lot of ppl like the XD's in 9mm and 40s

How dos the XD(M) 45s hold up

It's a springfield, they hold up well. As for the .45 XDM, noone can say for fact, it's still too new of a model. Its only been out a few short months. However I love any other XD or XDM that I've shot. The .40 is my favorite caliber in that gun.

I haven't shot an XDm 45 yet. I own a regular XD and have shot an XDm 40 before. Both are great guns but the match barrel from the factory in the "M" gave me tighter groups for sure.

I love XD's so much I'm actually picking up another one next week which happens to be the XDm 45!

I'll post up some groups from both models in a minute.

XDm group at 20 yards.




Regular XD at about 15 yards. Notice that it's a subcompact of all things shooting that group that far!
