Mine has sights but they are pretty crude. I don't like that the slide doesn't lock back when you empty the mag. That is my only dislike though.

It ain't no Glock but then again it didn't cost as much either wink

It is what it is!

made for easy carry, point blank shooting. Better made than a Kel-tec and I got mine for only $10 more than a keltec and it was new in box

I think it is the best "pocket pistol" out there. There are a lot better pistols, but they are all much bigger!!

Id take the lcp over that taurus anyday. They dont get better till you double the price and go into 238's and kahrs.
The lcp and even the keltec do fine

I have been carrying one for a few months and I like it. I don't much care for the trigger pull, but it is designed to be a 5 - 10 yard defensive weapon. I have a Crimson Trace laser sight on mine and I highly recommend this option. I also had a Galco pocket holster for it. Do not get the Galco. It was fine for several weeks, then the wire reenforcement at the top of the holster started to wear through the leather and ruined several pairs of pants. I had thought the holes that were appearing on the side of my pants was due to rubbing the outside of the pants on stuff because of the pistol in my pocket. Not so, it was being rubbed from the inside out, so I finally discovered. Am looking for a different brand pocket holster. However, with the Crimson Trace laser mounted on it, the silhouette does not look like a pistol in my pocket.

I like mine.. Has better fit and finish than the Kel Tec .380 I used to have. Its easy and light to carry. Close in personal defense is all it is for.

I have both the LCP and a hard chromed P3AT. They are both good guns. My LCP will rust if I don't keep it wiped down weekly. The hard chromed Kel-Tec is more corrosion resistant. If you go with the Ruger get the satin chrome version for pocket carry.

I have shot both and own the TCP.
the TCP has a much better trigger and slide hold open that the LCP does not fired 100 rounds through mine with only 2 failures one was a new shooter on his first round and had a failure to eject. I had one no fire do not know if it was hard primer or light strike but other than that shoot flawlessly. and made in the USA flag

they are both good little guns for what they are for

Recoils not bad, sights could be improved upon. Overall good gun.

I agree.
I have not had any issues with mine rusting, so far...
If I do I will duracoat it. I have just enough left over to probably do the slide.

A great pocket carry. I carried one for over a year. I did eventually upgrade to the Kahr P380, but the LCP costs half as much.

love mine. disapears in front pocket inside a bianchi nemisis pocket holster. so thin and light weight you forget it is there. you will carry it more because it is easy and hassle free to carry. then you will have a gun if you ever need it.

So far I really love mine and like the extra options it comes with like the slide lock. My girlfriend doesn't like to long trigger pull. As for accuracy and the sights I messed around with a 15 yard and 10 yard target and that little thing impressed me. First shot was a dime from the center. Good enough for what it is made to be used for.
