im in the san atnonio area and have a few places to hunt but nothin spectacular, got a guy that i always try and go on at least one killer dove hunt every year and was wondering if anyone in the san antonio area or Uvalde area had a place that was about 75 for a good one day dove hunt

What Part of SA are you in? I just moved to SA myself... So I got to looking around and what I found is there is a guy Named Raul that has a number of different places to hunt about 25 miles South Of San Antonio in Devine/Lyle/Medina County area off of 35. One of the cool deals is it is in the Special White wing area...And he offers hunts for the 4 half days that are coming up..(sept 4,5,11,12)

Yesterday I went to go meet him and he showed me 5 or 6 properties that he has. I saw a bunch of white wing/quail/deer.. I am definately going to hunt one of the white wing days in the begining of sept.. (probably 11 or 12th)

He is also having a big shin dig at Browns OK Corral - Rossville, Texas. Beer, hunting, and a steak dinner..He brought me over there and it looked AWESOME! Im definately going..

Check with the Chamber of Commerce in any of the towns along HWY 90 or the local feed stores for info on people who do hunts. There are a bunch of them in Hondo.

When I was stationed at Fort Sam in 2006 there was a place down off Hwy 16 just past the loop. I don't remember how far down it was but it was on the right side of the road. The lady charged $40 a day. Hope it helps.

There's a house at the entrance where you pay before you go in.

We have used Double H outfitters for a number of years with good success.

There is usually 3 or 4 advertisements for dove hunting on craigslist everyday. Just look under the sporting category.

Call Dziuk Meat Market in Castroville or the feed stores in Hondo..one of the two should point you in the right direction.

I wish I could hunt west of San Antonio on opening day......so many doves.

How was the hunt with Raul skyshark? I was planning on booking a hunt with him soon.
