I've been searching everywhere online for a place to find a good dove lease in the shackelford/callahan area, and have had no luck. Anyone know of a good place to go to find bird leases?

It's still too early to see many of them. Wait till July and then go look in the paper... you should find plenty.

I’m kinda new to this dove lease thing too. What is interesting is how prices vary from $30 to $150/day, and all seem to be good for birds. I guess the bottom line is that you just need to check various places out, and which places offer the best value (birds, customer services, hospitality, accommodation, etc..) for the price. It is kinda hard to figure all that out over the phone or over the internet, so like all hunting, you just got to scout it/try it, and see what places you like best for the price.
