Not all corn may be the same!

I bought some here in San Antonio at the Dicks sporting goods over in the Quarry and it was so dirty when I poured it into the feeder all you could see was a cloud of dust and I was covered with it when I got done filling.

Now I'm just going to wait and see how soon my feeder clogs up!

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

@ highlonsome1 - If you see your Sheriff, tell him Kerrville says howdy.

I'm not seeing corn for less than $6.00 per 50# bag around here.

Gorman Milling in Gorman Texas, Home of Red Chain Feeds is currently selling 50 lb bags of recleaned whole corn for $5.55 per bag. NOTE: if you are paying $4.99 for 40 lbs that converts to $6.23 for 50 lbs. Watch out on the 40 lb bags as its may not really be the best buy.

If you buy Recleaned Whole Corn it should be free of Cobbs and most other debri, might still be a bit dusty but not dirty at all. Some just sell whole corn that has not been run through a cleaner. Also putting the name "deer" on the tag is just a marketing ploy, Recleaned WHole Corn is simply that. They dont grow a special type of whole corn specifically for deer.

Ok Cary settle something once and for all...
Indian corn... I know there really is such a thing BUT
Can it be bought in bags/bulk?
If so can YOU get it and can you give us a price?

Rumor is deer really seem to like it and stay at the feeder longer.

Most of the corn is coming from down south right now, so it should be cheaper that direction. The corn north has been extremely wet this year and most has yet to be harvested. From talking with my suppliers they are expecting a little price increase depending on if the norther corn crops being bad. So it might be good to stock up from what im hearing from suppliers.
