i know this probably belongs more in a general forum...but i mostly trust my fellow duck buddies...seeing as that is what i will be using it for...anyone know anything about these flasghlights??

I like the lights that clip to my hat. As for a hand held flash light, I got a small black mag light, the kind that holds AA batteries.

I use a headlamp from wal-mart, costs around $15, I think it is an Energizer brand.

It's great and doesn't eat batteries.

I use a head lamp 94% of the time. One less thing to hold on to.

You guys should really check out the Pelican 2360 Tactical model. It holds 2 "AA" and is one bright little dude. They can be had for around $40.00 and carry a lifetime guarantee.

Streamlight. All day. You know this.

i have the one with the green led. trident i think, super bright and great for nightvision. also has the white led and a xenon bulb, i dont even use the xenon, led is super bright and the batteries last forever. gotta have a headlamp!

I use an Energizer headlamp. It keeps your hands free for putting out decoys and carrying your gear to the hunting hole.

yeah im a streamlight man...the post was just asking if anyone had used the flashlight that I posted, not really what everyone uses...everyone knows that would be streamlights...i just was trying to see if those would be worth it

I have to agree with JCAV on the energizer. We have used there LED headlights for a couple years now. They are tough little lights.

On another note I bought a Gander mountain light from a guy at the market hall gun show, and it is awesome for its size. It also comes with green, red, and blue LED settings. It is far and away brighter than my surefire and stream lights. I bought it for 35 from the guy at the show new in package.

We normally use the smaller maglights. In fact, if you want one you can come find the one my gf apparantly dropped in the pond. She swore it was in the blind and it wasn't. That leaves the only other place lol.

I seen my maglight glowing in the bottom of a pond for 2 days. Talk about make you depressed everytime you look out there. Now I use a rechargeable streamlight and an el' cheapo headlamp from wally world. Streamlights are the best!

Looking at your post again I wouldn't mind trying one of those out.

Streamlight all the way! Trident headlamp and a Stinger rechargeable will cover all your needs. Also, check out the new waypoint hand held spot light.
