Nikon M223 or Leupold Mark AR would be a good start.

I am going to use my AR for hog hunting so I want to get a good scope for a decent price. I was thinking about the Nikon Prostaff what you guys think?

For hog hunting and shots under 100 yards,I highly recommend a Eotech 552 or 512. They work great, especially for hog hunting in daytime or nighttime.

I know not why they gave the Leopold AR 1/2 min. adjustments, my AR is more accurate than that. Try Leopold VX III 1.75 to 6 with HD retical. Great field of view for close quarters and night.

I have a Vortex Strikefire on mine. Around $150 bucks and it's similar in design to the Aimpoint. I'm satisfied with it.

Check out teh Primary Arms 1-4x30 scope they have. Its a knock off of the Millett DMS-1 but has a small red dot instead of teh donut and dot. Its a great little scope and is good at 1x for up close but still has teh 4x so you can reach out there a little further. You can get the scope and mount for under $300 !
