Definitely Smithfield been going there since they were off of Davis in Smithfield. Absolutely best service by far. Won't see them for a year and Rhonda and Stan always remember me by name. They have my buisness as long as they keep up that kind of service. If they are busy, and can't get my stuff done as quick as I would like I don't mind waiting a bit for the better "Personal" service. Thanks Rhonda and Stan.

I am under the impression that the Pro-Shop business has suffered greatly from internet sales and big-box retail stores cutting into what used to be alot of their business. If my business was getting pinched, I'd charge a few extra to a guy who buys a set of cables or a string off of the internet and wants me to install it... especially if I was selling the same one's in my store! I agree that what the OP paid for his string and cable overhaul was outrageous. Anything over a hundred bucks and I would have expected it to be made of titanium or somethin'. I also understand a hike in the price of labor, to a degree though.
Wasn't born in Texas, but I got there as fast as I could.

Our cost includes cables, strings, paper tuned and shot 30 times, then timing and alignment re check before picked up for $100. It doesn't matter whose strings and cables you use they will stretch within the first 50 shots. So just installing new items and sending a customer down the road is not what we are about, we also will allow customers to stand on the other side of the counter and watch and learn as we work on their bow.
