Anybody hunt south central Texas??? Katy, Eagle Lake, Lissie, Garwood, El Campo, the coast, Austin areas??? Am I the only one hunting rice fields and flooded flats and ponds? I see a ton of y'all guys are from north Texas and hunt public. Anybody from my area? Would love to get know some folks and swap hunts.

Yea there are plenty of them on here but I think you just pissed about 99% of them off by nameing all those lakes. Not cool at all dude. whip

Ok everybody does know that those places I just named are all TOWNS!!!!!!!! Not lakes!!!!!!!!!! We have don't have much public as you guys here....their all mainly PRIVATE rice fields!!!!!

Yes on towns, but no worries.

Just trying to give you a heads up. Some of the folks on here get mad as heck when they see anything that comes close to calling out an area they hunt.

I hunt in the LaGrange area on private ponds and also one really nice large tract on the river with 9-10 ponds scattered on both sides of Hwy 71.

Well I hunted down that way a good bit,but I'm a couple or three hours north of there.

I am a little North of you but I venture your way from time to time. Hunt in El Campo quite a bit. Were here just not in the droves that these North Texas folks are!!! stir

Theres quite a few of us around Austin area... I used to have lease out in Lissie. Hit me up sometime as it gets closer to season..

And There Was one Lake Named.... Austin juggle if you can weave around the wakeboard boats there is some good fishing and the scenery isnt so bad on the eyes banana

Hunt in the garwood area, we own some land down there and always have a BIG turnout for opening teal hunt. Thankfully we have the farmers to guide us!
