I have gain acess to some land put some bait for hogs (pipe feeder)this weekend hoping to get them focus on this section. I will put motion sensor light next weekend and bait some more on regular basis. My question is how long do you think for hogs will take to get uset to light to go off and not be spooked.

Put a red lense on the light. They will not spook at all.

red, amber or orange lenses work well

With a red colored lense, they won't spook after they taste the food.

Use low voltage lights and leave them on all the time, they get used to them/

I bought a 30 dollar landscape spotlight at home depot last week, wireless with a solar panel on top, three led's inside. Put it out last wednesday under a bait station we made and it took the bigger hogs only one night to come back in. The first night we put it out, we had 7 piglets eating with no problem. I can check the brand of the light if you want. Havent got to hunt it yet, but have plenty of pics underneath it when it was on. The light is also bright enough, I drew on my cousin with my bow, no arrow of course, after dark that first night and could see well enough to see his shoulder, lighted pins are a must also. Levi

yote..i put mine up next to a game cam....they were there like always....They were already used to the bright flash!!!

I will set it up and will see what happens, one way to find out.
