Thanks!

Don't know anything about USO but take a look at Beaverhead Outdoors. Jack and John Diamond. They live in unit 16c, I've been there 7 times with them. I can highly recommend them. There is some great bulls in the Gila. I've elk hunted in Colorado twice and in Chama 3 times. The Gila is it for me...

USO and Grizz(guide) seems like they do some awesome hunts. On national hunting tv shows all the time for elk and mulie. They cant be doing to bad if they have that much publicity. Best of luck to you

The Floyd Lee Ranch in New Mexico is where most of their videos are done. Probably because that is where the best elk are. I have been to the Floyd Lee Ranch twice with USO. They have a first class operation. Some of the guides have been with them a long time and know the area well. Good accomadations, good food.

I have no personal info but have read lots of stuff on them.
USO has a reputation around the western US. Search other big game hunting forums like monstermuleys.com and you will find lots of info on them, most of it bad.

Like I said I know nothing personal and probably should not of said anything. I just remember some lengthy threads about them. Very true about the numbers sooner or later you will have an unhappy client.

I have a couple of friends that hunt with USO just about everytime they go out west. They have been on bulls each year they go and are very pleased with the service that they provide. Your best bet is to read all of the ngative and the posative and get a feedback report from them and call every person on the list. Ask vary specific questions and you will get your answers. Also make sure that this is the type of hunt you are looking for as they comand a high price for thier service. I do like application service that they provide.

No dog in this fight but I've read the same negatives as Jeremy. The theme always seems to be...if you got the $$$ and you're a client they are top-notch, the best.

However, if you are a local hunter or small outfitter...they will screw you from every angle.

Just sayin'.....

I don't want to disparage anyone, but you may want to look up the legal/ethical issues they have had. They don't have a good reputation with local Az/NM hunters.

There was a big fuss with them in Arizona a few years ago when I visited there. I think it was something to do with them wanting private land hunts and tags for Elk. They were wanting to change the system to something like New Mexico had or something like that. A lot of the bow huntere there didn't really care for them at that time.
