Hi guys, I'm from Canada and would appreciate if somebody could steer in the right direction so much!

I'm 52 and have hunted/guided up here in Manitoba all my life. I don't have a ton of cash but I've wanted to do a Texas hog hunt for years and last February my wife treated me for our anniversary. Despite a bunch of research, I unfortunately picked the wrong guy and ended up not even seeing a hog (among other bad experiences). I did shoot a Javi but as you all probably know, that's no big deal. I loved Texas but I came home from my trip of a lifetime so damn P'd off!

Well my wife, being the SWEETHEART that she is, wants me to try it again!!!

Sooo, I'm looking for an affordable 3 day hunt at a ranch with a good chance at getting a pig and a decent ram of some type. I'd need accommodations with meals. I'd like to come down for the first weekend in February again and get away from our cold winter for a bit. Anywhere in Texas is fine.

Sorry for the long sob story but I don't want to make the same mistake again. (I also posted this in the discussion forum since I'm not sure where it should go)

Thank you in advance.

You also need to figure out if you want a canned hog hunt or one that might be sporting. It will have to be somewhat canned to shoot a goat
