 i let a HoG walk tonight

we drive to the feeder to check the game cam and we see a coon under the feeder from the lights. turn on the spotlight and look over to the left a little and we see this HoG we've been trying to kill!! i get my gun and hold it out the window pull the trigger.... SAFTYS ON  turn off safety pulled the trigger....CLICK  (( btw i just got the rock river arms 2 stage trigger. woulda been my first time using it!)) the whole time the big a pig was just walking to the tree line. by the time i got one in the chamber he was gone!  got him on game cam the night before tho..he stayed at the feed from 1-5am lol got a lot of pics but im not gana post them all. i think thats his cutters in the second pic but not sure!

oh hes huge! he looked like a short cow! heres a pic from couple nights ago.cant tell if its the same one. pretty sure it is but this pic looks bigger!

this aint the wild west you cant clean up the streets with a gun, but sometimes it is needed.....

hahaha yea right... i know how to kill them just got to excited  and when we drove up on him he was walkin to the trees so i didnt have much time lol

Similar thing happened to me recently. I got a savage with an accutrigger and apprently I pulled the trigger a little sideways which didn't engage the trigger just right so...click.... Luckily it was only a coon, I would have been ripping mad if it happened on that Hog.

gotta hate that feeling... i let a red fox walk cause my AR was on safety, by the time i flipped it off , he ran off. would have been nice to have a red fox on the wall.

My very first hunt went like that..... borrow gun 3 position safety....by the time I figured that lil fact out the 7 hogs under my feet were gone......
