I've never gone to such efforts as that...never needed to. I use mojo dove but hardly ever use the clip on dove. I'm not even sure if I still have any.
Dear Lord please bullwhip me for saying this but I agree, Marcstar is in the lead. Please nobody use this as a quote!!!

If you have a mojo decoy or two and a handful of clip on decoys on a fence line you should pull in some dove.

I havent tried this yet but, How about one of those flood light bulb changers with the extendable pole? I know I used one to get my Christmas lights in the top of my trees. One of the screw on adapters is a circular spring that I believe you could sit the DD in it just enough that the drag of going by a limb or branch would take it off. As lite as they are, it may take a bit of finesse, or some hi-brass #4's to get em down. *shruggin* trying to look outside the box, and teasin on shooting them down UNLESS THEY DIDNT WORK! HH

I put up a barbed wire about 5ft tall for 30yards at 30yards from where I sit am I put 5 or 6 decoys on it and the same on the ground with me mogo going to it is a killer set up. The only thing that I make sure is the decoys face the wind that is important. I will try to post pictures later.
