I heard there might be decent hog activity around lavon. Any one know of a good spot to go and time of day/night to go?

They do a special weapons drawing but all you have to do to hunt with archery equipment is get a free permit from the Corps office in Wylie.

Defenitly hogs there!!! Only time i've seen them though is when I boated back up into some of the creeks. Not a bad way to hunt either, as it's next to impossible to walk to wear I hunted them and you don't get any other pressure that way. You do have to get the permit, and obide by all the rules if your going to hunt them though......seen the GW there plenty of times. I alway's stay legal but have seen far to many people who try and get away with stuff and get caught. The GW's are nice guys just make sure you are legal and you'll have nothing to worry about.
