Ask around the gins there.....you will find someone that will let you have some access to land....Be kind and polite and offer a fee, beer, or gift card.

Spend time with the ones you love. Time is not guaranteed.

1+ on checking the local gins and coop grain elevators. Start working as many contacts as possible. You may be able to extend your shooting into goose season. I hope to be in town for the pheasant opener. We hammered the collared dove one year at a coop when the pheasant were slow.

Lots of public land to the east of you. Floyd county to be specific. go to tpwd website and look at public land in floyd county.

You are right in the middle of good hunting land. I would stay away from the public stuff. Too many rookies.

The gins are good, the wheat fields are good, just northwest of you there are some good sunflower fields. I'd check up there as well.

I just don't know about asking people I don't know to hunt on there land. Bc if it was me and some random guy asked I wouldn't bc I don't know how he would respect my property. So I'm not a big fan of asking if I don't know them I might try were I praise dog hunt and see how that works if not just not hunt unless I go home
