Not bad. I wish we had one of those stores out here in the countryside.

$4.49 for 40 at WalMart but the last time I bought the Remington brand corn there it was full of cobs and stems.

Bought 7 bags of Remington corn at Walmart two weeks ago. It was super clean (surprisingly). Probably came from a different feed mill. I do like that $4.49 price. smile

has anyone bought from dick's? do they limit the amount you can get? If I can, I will stock up for the season and store it if I have too.

We have had similar experience with the TSC corn. Had two feeders get clogged up with cobs.....

No debris in the corn at Dicks Sporting goods. I sell alot of it and haven't had any complaints as of yet.

Yeah I thought that the WalMart corn was a good deal until I opened it. Nothing but bugs, stems, cobs, and misc. crap that could jam the feeder.

I bought corn at the Wal Mart in Brady and never had any problems with it being dirty.

Just bought corn Saturday in Hamilton, and the feed store was charging $6.75/bag. Kind of pricey but we were buying protein there as well.

Corn from Dicks was real clean last batch I got, however, havent bought from them in a while. Going to buy and store until needed in a couple of weeks.

I have also bought the 4.99 corn from TSC, a little trashy.

I've bought Academy corn also and it's usually clean, but last year I bought a few bags and they had clumps from maybe being at the bottom of the feed bin before the bags were filled, or the bags had gotten wet in storage or transit.

Clogged my feeder real good!

I've now got a piece of wire mesh that I fashioned to fit over the top lip of the feeder barrel and I pour the corn on top of it, and it catches the trash. You'd be surprised but it only takes one stalk or cob to clog the feeder and when you don't get down to the lease for a few weeks it's not good.
