I would like to hear some opinions and experiences on this shotgun from some guys on here who own them.
Thanks

I've got the M935. Had some initial problems with it. Alot of that was my fault. Bought it brand new and should've done a better job cleaning it, before chambering that first round.

It was literally coated inside and out in cosmoline. (sp)

FTF. FTE.

Since then, no problems, but I have noticed it hates aluminum shells. Brass has been no problem.

For the money it's a good buy.

Thanks janie.
That reflects all the reviews that I have found online. They say they are very dirty from the factory but they are supposedly very reliable after that. How is the fit and finish as I am looking at the wood stocked version?

That's what I keep hearing. I was just wanting some first hand experience. I need to go check one out myself.

Fit and finish is nice. I'll snap a pic later today and send it to you.

I also have a 935. I experienced the same issues as Janie. I also found it does not like 2 3/4 just like it says, although I have found it will feed Federal 2 3/4 field loads fairly successfully. Fit and finish is good, better then expected by Mossberg.

I like Mossberg myself. I am looking for the 930 as I will be shooting 2 3/4" light loads exclusively.
