Years ago, my wife had a German Shepherd that was the dumbest thing on four feet. He also had a bad habit of chewing anything he found. One day, I was cooking out on the grill, and left the quart can of charcoal starter on the ground. Before I saw what was happening, Prince grabbed the can and ran to the back of the yard. He bit down on the can, and obviously, drank some of the fuel.
He suddenly went nuts, running at full speed all over the yard, jumping and barking at the sky. After about two minutes of this, he suddenly fell flat on his belly and laid very still.

He didn't die - he just ran out of gas.

You can always tell when a dog has run out of gas, normally another dog is giving them a push. rofl
